A girl wakes up in a town she has never seen before, with no memory of how she got there. That part is bad enough. The footsteps behind her are worse. Someone wants her, and they are not asking nicely. Just before it all goes wrong, a group of men in sharp suits steps in and pulls her out of the street. They belong to the Oz family, one of the outfits that runs this place, and they seem almost friendly about the whole rescue. Almost. Because in this town, the guys who buy you dinner are the same ones who settle scores in back alleys, and everybody smiles while they do it. Fuuka is passed from hand to hand like a stray cat, each family offering protection, each one wanting something back. She has no idea who to trust, and no idea why her own head is such a blank. So who was she before she turned up here, and what did she do that made half the town come looking?
