Episode 3 · Onigiri

Onigiri

Centuries ago, monstrous beasts called Kamikui tore across Japan until the sun goddess herself stopped them and sealed them away. That seal just shattered. Now the Kamikui are back, and a guy named Jin ends up leading eight beautiful warriors who each fight in their own strange way. They bond, they bicker, they charge straight into the dark miasma spreading over the land. The story comes from a fantasy MMORPG built on Japanese folklore, so expect gods, demons and a lot of comedy along the way. Jin and his companions grow closer with every battle, though something about this whole arrangement feels off. With the seal broken and no goddess in sight, can eight girls and one guy really hold back what a deity once had to bury?
