The Thief Brothers show up with bad news: the Going Merry is gone, taken by the Trump Siblings, who rule from a stronghold called Clockwork Island. Luffy does not think it over for long. He is going to get his ship back, and his crew is coming with him: Usopp, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, all of them piling into the same mess as always. Then the island itself turns out to be the trap. Gears grind under your feet, walls move when you are not looking, and the whole place runs on machinery that was built to keep strangers out. The Trump Siblings are waiting up there, and they are not handing anything over without a fight. Every step toward the Merry means another one of them standing in the way. A captain with no ship, a crew climbing a fortress that fights back, and a gang of thieves who thought they had already won. What happens when the clockwork finally stops turning?
