Yuuto Amakawa is a perfectly forgettable sixteen year old. Parents gone since he was little, raised by Rinko, the girl next door, and his biggest problem is that cats make him sneeze. Then his birthday hits, the old charm his parents left him stops working, and something with teeth comes straight for his throat. It wants him dead for things his ancestors did. A sword flashes, and a cat girl named Himari cuts the thing down. Surprise: the family he never asked about used to hunt demons, and she is his new bodyguard. One small catch. He is allergic to her. So now his quiet school life is gone. Ayakashi keep crawling out of the woodwork, and girls keep turning up at his door too, each one stranger and hungrier than the last. Himari swings her blade first and explains later. Rinko is not thrilled about any of it. Yuuto just wants to survive the week, but the past his family buried is very much awake, and it is not done with him. How long can a guy with nothing but a sword wielding cat and a runny nose hold the line?
