Kazuya Kagami is a regular guy with one odd habit: he never takes off the obi he inherited from his late mother. He wears it to class, sleeps with it nearby, keeps it close like a lucky charm. Then a wig comes alive and tries to kill him. Just when it looks like he's done for, the obi moves on its own and turns into a blue-haired girl in a kimono who calls herself Kiriha, a tsugumomo spirit bound to his mother. Great news, right? Not exactly. Kiriha moves into his house like she owns the place, lounging around without a care while Kazuya scrambles to keep up. His childhood friend Chisato is not happy about any of this. She's known him forever, and now some spirit is living under his roof, getting way too comfortable. Chisato pushes back hard, doing everything she can to keep the two of them apart. Between gods, rogue spirits born from destructive wishes, and a girl who refuses to leave his side, Kazuya's normal school life is gone for good. He wanted quiet. He got a supernatural roommate with a sword and a jealous friend who won't back down. How long can he keep the peace before everything blows up?
