Kobeni Yonomori turns sixteen and gets a fiancé she has never met. Hakuya Mitsumine, same age, shows up from the countryside with his little sister Mashiro in tow, and the three of them move straight into her house. No warning. No explanation. Just a wedding plan her late grandfather apparently arranged years ago. Then strange things start happening around Hakuya and Mashiro. The quiet mountain boy barely talks, his sister acts way too mature for a grade schooler, and neither of them seems entirely human. Kobeni's older sister Benio, who treats the whole situation like a new toy, doesn't make living together any easier. Kobeni just wants a normal school life. Instead she's sharing a roof with a stranger she's supposed to marry, a kid sister-in-law with secrets, and a sibling who keeps turning the house upside down. Can four people this different actually make it work, or will the engagement fall apart before anyone even says the word wedding?
