Moving boxes, unfamiliar hallways, a fresh start for Ryoutaro Shiba and his family. Then he meets the girl next door: Nozomi Egawa, an actress who can do just about anything athletically, and who has one fixed idea in her head. She wants Ryoutaro in a boxing ring. He wants nothing to do with it. She doesn't ask, though. She writes up a resume claiming he's some kind of boxing prodigy and hauls him down to the high school club herself. Here's the part that throws him: the gloves fit. Somewhere inside this guy who never threw a punch in his life is a real gift, and once it surfaces, he starts winning. Ryoutaro, the reluctant kid dragged along by a pretty face, becomes the one with his arm raised. But Nozomi's dream is still a locked door he's never been allowed to look behind, and every win pulls him deeper into a plan he never agreed to. How long can a guy keep winning fights when he doesn't even know what he's fighting for?
