A vampire wakes up in modern Korea after eight hundred years of sleep and has no idea how any of this works. Traffic. Smartphones. The whole thing. His old servant Frankenstein, now a high school principal, enrolls him at Ye Ran High just to keep him close, and Rai sits through classes, learning what ordinary people do all day. It almost looks peaceful. Then the Union takes his new friends. Turns out the shadowy organization has been hunting Rai since before he closed his eyes, and now it wants him and everyone near him. Frankenstein quietly hires a defector named M-21 as school security, a man still chained to his old masters, while two young Nobles, Regis and Seira, walk the same hallways pretending to be normal students and watching Rai's every move. Rai has to hide what he is, protect people who have no clue what he is, and figure out why he woke up now, of all times. Frankenstein never says much about any of it. So who exactly put Rai to sleep eight centuries ago, and what happens when the Union finally finds out he is awake?
