The war between androids and machines has dragged on for centuries. On the cold surface of Earth, YoRHa forces and the Resistance are gearing up for one last push against the Machine Lifeforms. In the middle of the preparations, 9S and 2B keep scouting ahead. The two of them are supposed to be a perfect team. But something is off. 9S wants answers more than he wants orders, and 2B keeps looking away from the things she has already figured out.
