Hajime Sekiguchi sold life insurance until the day he couldn't anymore. So he walks into Club One and asks for a job pouring drinks and flirting. That part sounds simple. Then he meets the coworkers. One guy calls himself everyone's little brother and has been doing this for twenty years. Another used to be an idol and runs his whole game on romance. A third yells at his phone between customers, fully lost in some mobile game. Hajime watches all of it and thinks: no sane person would work here. Except he's good with people. Years of talking nervous strangers into signing on the dotted line turn out to translate just fine into getting them to stay for one more glass. He starts pulling in clients his own way, and the club starts to notice. Can a guy who spent his whole career selling paperwork really build something in a place this strange?
