Mayu Morita has a habit that gets her into trouble. When someone talks to her, she stares straight into their eyes and says nothing at all. Classmates read it as cold, or rude, or like she is judging them. She is not. Inside her head, a single reply is being turned over and polished and weighed, and by the time she settles on the right words, the conversation has already moved on without her. The OVA came bundled with the special edition of the third manga volume, and it follows Mayu through ordinary school days rather than any big plot. Lunch breaks. Walks home. Small misunderstandings that pile up and then quietly fall apart once people realize there was never anything mean behind the silence. So how does a girl who can never find the right moment to speak still end up with friends who wait for her?
