Three short stories, one movie. In a stream running through the woods, two tiny crabs, Kanini and Kanino, wait for their mother while their father keeps watch. A storm hits. The current drags him off, and the brother and sister have nothing left but each other and a long stretch of water where a hungry piranha can be hiding behind any rock. Then a hospital room, where a boy named Shun gags at the smell of an egg. His whole life has been built around avoiding them, and his mother has spent years watching him fight for breath over a bite of food. What does it cost a kid to keep living in a world that is full of the one thing that can kill him? And on a rainy street, a man in clothes nobody looks at carries a fire extinguisher just to stay on the ground. Losing it means drifting up into the sky forever. When the storm finally rips it away, he has to decide how badly he wants to come back down.
