Mikura handles the punching. Harada handles the thinking. Kurokawa used to be a cop, still acts like he runs the place, and mostly just complains. Together they are the Danger Service Agency, and they will take any job that pays well and looks likely to get someone killed. Then a normal gig turns into a problem they did not sign up for. Somebody wants Kurokawa dead. Not a threat, not a warning: a real hit, with money behind it and a reason nobody will explain. Now the woman who breaks jaws and the man who reads code have to keep their least useful member breathing while they work out who ordered it and why. Every lead drags them somewhere worse, and the people asking questions keep ending up dead before they can answer. So who hated an ex-cop enough to pay for this, and what did he do that he is still not telling them?
