Tsunami is first in line for the throne of Juraihelm, but the crown comes with homework: fix a universe that has tipped toward darkness. Easy enough. She hands a magic baton to Sasami Kawai, an ordinary girl with zero interest in saving anything, and assigns a rabbit-like helper named Ryou-Ouki to keep her on task. There is just one problem. Sasami says no. Not out of fear. She thinks the whole magical girl business is mortifying, and she wants nothing to do with it. Then arrogant Ramia makes her move, recruiting her own champion, the wildly eccentric Pixy Misa, who unleashes Love-Love monsters on the planet and makes sure the scales never tip back. Now Sasami has a choice: keep her dignity or watch the world get wrecked. Swallowing her pride means becoming Pretty Sammy, defender of justice, whether she likes it or not. Can a girl who is too embarrassed to transform really be the one who saves everyone?
