Jack Hofner and Rowe Rikenbacker work for Cloud 7, and their job is simple enough on paper: keep the royal family of Ishtar safe, along with their treasures and their good name. Bodyguard duty, lost jewels, odd jobs for the bosses. Then comes the assignment. Noelle is a candidate in the 15 Year Princesse contest, and the two of them are supposed to watch over her. What looks like a routine protection detail goes sideways fast. Bombings. Corruption. A murder. Before long every agent in Cloud 7 is tangled up in something much bigger than one contestant, and the whole world is still waiting for a princess who vanished fifteen years ago. Nobody knows where she is. Nobody knows how to find her. So who is Noelle really, and why does protecting her keep pulling Cloud 7 deeper into a mess that someone clearly wants buried?
