Krai Andrey holds one of the few level 8 licenses in all of Zebrudia, and he leads the capital's strongest party, the Grieving Souls. There is just one problem. He has no idea what he is doing. Every half-baked thing that falls out of his mouth somehow comes true, so the whole city has decided he is a genius of impossible depth. He knows better. It is all dumb luck, one coincidence stacked on another, and he is quietly terrified of the day it runs out. Then his own teammates keep saving the day without him. They train, they fight, they come home famous, and the legend around their leader swells right along with them. Krai would rather do anything else than live up to it. Retire, hide, disappear, maybe run a shop somewhere far away. But every time he tries to slip out the back door, the world shoves him back on stage and hands him another impossible problem to solve by accident. How long can a guy fake his way through a job he never wanted, when the people who believe in him refuse to let him quit?
