Treasure vaults started popping up out of nowhere, and suddenly everyone wanted to be a hunter. Six childhood friends in the imperial capital of Zebrudia threw their hats in too, calling themselves the Grieving Souls. Loud, reckless, and somehow they actually pulled it off. Now they are the top party around, and the man leading them, Krai Andrey, gets credit for all of it. People say he has a skill for every situation. They say he is the strongest. He knows better. Every fight taught him the same lesson: he is weak, useless, and usually needs rescuing. His friends are monsters. He is just the guy standing next to them. Krai has tried to quit more times than he can count, but they refuse to hear it, and he has no clue why they keep pinning their hopes on him. So he stays, stuck as the face of a team he cannot keep up with, and turns begging and dodging responsibility into a fine art. How long can a man bluff his way through being the strongest when he is praying for retirement?
