Kimagure Robot
Somewhere in a cluttered lab, a scientist who is brilliant and a little unhinged keeps building robots nobody asked for. One grants three wishes. One helps you keep a diary. One is programmed to act up on purpose, just so its owner never gets bored. Each machine does exactly one thing, and nothing else. Then the thing it was built for turns out to matter in ways its creator never planned, and a gadget that looked like a joke suddenly becomes the only answer in the room. The catch is that these robots are stubbornly literal. Ask for the wrong wish and you get it. The diary robot has opinions about what you wrote. The misbehaving one might push a bad day straight off a cliff. Most of the time it works out. Sometimes it really does not, and the scientist is left standing in the wreckage of his own clever idea. So what happens when a machine designed for one tiny job decides the job is bigger than anyone thought?
