A princess from a tiny country steps off the train in Hokkaido with her luggage and her manners, ready for a normal spring at school. Only the school is not normal. It belongs to ALCA, the outfit that trains Logicalists, the people who keep the world from falling apart. Liones lands in class S, where the desks are full of girls who each come with their own kind of trouble. Nina, for one. Then the classroom part ends and the real work starts. These students do not just take notes on peacekeeping. They get sent out to do it, and the cute uniforms do not make the job any safer. Between lessons and lunch, Liones has to figure out how a sheltered royal fits into a squad that has been training for this far longer than she has. She wanted friends and a quiet year. What she got was a unit that expects her to pull her weight when things go wrong, and a group of classmates who are not sure the new girl can. Can a princess who has never had to fight for anything become the kind of Logicalist who holds the line?
