Something is off in the small town of Doumori. Spirits are restless, the balance has tipped, and the youkai are getting bolder by the day. Enter Meisuke Nueno, the new teacher at the elementary school. He grades homework, breaks up playground fights, and happens to be an exorcist with a demon sealed inside his left hand. Quiet first week, right? Then he notices Hiroshi, the transfer kid who keeps exploding at classmates for no reason. Turns out a youkai is riding around inside the boy, and Nube pries it loose with that sealed hand of his. Case closed. Except a doctor named Kyousuke Tamano is not a doctor at all, just another youkai wearing a human face, and he snatches Hiroshi right out from under Nube's nose. Now Nube has to dig through occult lore, lean on his student Kyouko Inaba for help, and figure out what this fake doctor actually wants with the kid before the trail goes cold. He will tear through anything supernatural to get his students back. But what does a youkai gain by posing as a physician, and why Hiroshi?
