Rushuna Tendo has one goal and it is a strange one for a woman carrying a revolver: she wants to make the whole world peaceful. Not by winning fights. By smiling at people until they simply lose the urge to raise a weapon. She is blonde, she is gorgeous, and she is very, very good with that gun. Then a mercenary named Yajirou wanders into her path. A swordsman who fights for money and does not care about anybody's smile. He joins her anyway. And the world does not soften for either of them. Bandits keep coming. Soldiers keep coming. Every time Rushuna tries to talk her way out, somebody forces her hand, and what follows is a hail of impossible shots she never wanted to fire. Yajirou watches her refuse to kill and wonders how long that can last. The road stretches on, full of men who would rather shoot first. Can a girl who hates fighting keep shooting her way to peace, and how much of herself will she lose before she gets there?
