Nina Iseri dropped out of school and left home for a prep college in Tokyo. The city greeted her with a locked door. Seventeen years old, clumsy, alone on a dark street, no place to sleep. Then she hears music nearby: Momoka Kawaragi, former member of Diamond Dust, Nina's favorite band, playing right there on the sidewalk. A street performance turns into an invitation to start a group. Nina says yes, then hesitates, then keeps saying yes. A drummer joins. Then a keyboardist who barely speaks. Then a bassist with sharp eyes. Five girls, one practice room, and a whole industry ready to chew them up. The old wounds Momoka left behind don't heal just because Nina idolizes her. Nina's own family doesn't understand why she threw away a safe future. Every show they play costs them something, and the question of whether to go back to school or give everything to the band doesn't get easier. So what happens when a girl who's lost in every part of her life finally finds the one thing that makes sense?
