Nanako fumbles another dressing change while Dr. Kouji sighs over his charts. She is supposed to be his apprentice, except she keeps dropping things, mixing up trays, and turning a quiet hospital shift into a mess. No big deal. That part she can almost laugh off. Then the bullets start flying. Somebody sends soldiers, then machines, and suddenly this clumsy girl in a nurse cap is the one everyone wants. She has no idea why. Dr. Kouji does. So does his family, and none of them are talking. She keeps asking what she did wrong, and the doctor keeps dodging the question. Whatever is buried in her past, it is heavy enough to bring an army to her door. Can a girl who cannot even hold a syringe survive the people hunting her?
