Shun Fujimaki is a first-year high schooler with a dream way too big for his body: Olympic gymnastics gold. He can't clear a vault, can't hold himself up on the rings, and his conditioning is a joke. Doesn't matter. He walks into the school gymnastics club anyway, all heart and zero skill, and signs up. Then the real work starts. The upperclassmen are a strange, funny bunch who seem to know everything before it happens, catching his mistakes almost as he makes them. Between brutal practices come club outings and all the usual chaos. And somewhere in there, a girl from his class starts to matter to him more than he expected. The goal is still that medal. Only now there is soreness, doubt, and the slow discovery of what it feels like to give everything to one thing. Will raw stubbornness be enough to carry him all the way?
