Episode 2 · Eternal Boys

Eternal Boys

Kentarou Sanada has sent his resume everywhere. Bills pile up, doors keep closing, and the company he used to work for is gone. So when he walks into what he thinks is just another interview, he answers the questions, bows, and goes home. Then the phone rings. He got the job. Only it is not a desk job. He has been picked as one of six men in their forties for Eternal Boys, a brand new idol group built on a simple idea: you can debut at any age. Now Sanada and his bandmates have to learn the choreography, stand under the lights, and smile while teenagers half their age own the entire industry. Their knees creak. Their backs ache. The young idols barely notice they exist. But these men have spent decades in offices, surviving meetings, bosses, and bad coffee. They know how to work. They know how to wait. And when the cameras finally roll, will their age be the thing that sinks them, or the one thing nobody else on that stage has?
