Episode 9 · Ebiten

Ebiten

Itsuki Noya transfers to Ebisugawa High with one thing on his mind: space. Stars, planets, the whole thing. So when he goes looking for the astronomy club, he spots the sign, walks in, and signs right up. Only problem is, the placard says Asstronomy, and the room is packed with girls. Otaku girls. Strange ones. He still hasn't caught on that he joined the wrong club. They just keep handing him forms and talking about things he does not understand, and he keeps nodding along like everything is normal. It is not normal. Not even close. Then the girls get to work on him. They drag him into their projects, their arguments, their very specific obsessions, and the astronomy he came for gets buried under all of it. He wants to look at the night sky. They want something else entirely. How long can he keep pretending he is in the right place before one of them finally tells him the truth?
