Dojin Work
Najimi just got fired from her part time job, and the bicycle she's been dreaming about is still just a dream. So she calls her friend Tsuyuri to vent. Tsuyuri nods off mid complaint. Not enough sleep, apparently. From doing what all night, exactly? Something dirty? Wait, seriously? Alone?! Turns out Tsuyuri draws doujinshi, and not the wholesome kind. She even asks Najimi to help out, because doing this stuff solo is genuinely hard. Najimi can draw, sure. She also saw how much money her friend pulls in at conventions, and that number is what really gets her hooked. One catch: this world chews up beginners, and Najimi is about as green as it gets. Conventions, deadlines, weird fans, fellow artists with strong opinions about her linework. Somewhere in that mess she stumbles into a circle of friends who actually know the ropes and start showing her how it's done. Can a girl who got into all this for the cash figure out how doujinshi really work before the whole thing eats her alive?
