Taichi and Yamato are doing what they always did, keeping the peace alongside their Digimon partners. Only now everyone is drifting apart, busy with college interviews and jobs and the small ordinary choices that come with growing up. Nobody said it out loud, but the days of the whole team standing together were already numbered. Then Menoa Bellucci shows up. An American professor who studies Digimon, and she has bad news: kids all over the world are being found in comas, their partners simply gone. Something new is hiding deep in the internet, an Eosmon, and it is picking off Chosen Children one by one. The old crew has to suit up again, even though the gaps between them keep widening. Can they close those gaps long enough to save the ones who are still asleep, or has the team already lost something it cannot get back?
