Out past the usual Tokyo sprawl, a man-made island of cold concrete is about to catch fire. Not literally. This is where the doujinshi crowd gathers: drawing, digging through stacks, arguing about panels, spending every yen and every free hour on comics nobody asked them to make. Kazuki and Mizuki are just college kids, but Kazuki has started to actually believe he can do this. That's when the trouble starts. There are girls around him now, and he can't tell if they're pulling him away from his desk or pushing him toward something bigger. Meanwhile his friend Taishi is quietly working on a plan to take over the world, which somehow involves all of this. Can Kazuki finish his book with so many people in the way, and does Taishi honestly think he can run the planet from a convention hall?
