Bartender
Somewhere in the backstreets of Ginza there is a bar called Eden Hall, and you will not find it by wandering. It finds you. Behind the counter stands Ryuu Sasakura, a young man they call the Divine for one simple reason: hand him a stranger with a cracked heart and he will set the right glass in front of them, every single time. Here is the twist. Ryuu does not believe pouring drinks is the job. A bartender, he says, works like a doctor does, and one extra drop can turn a medicine into poison. So he waits. A salaryman stares at the counter. A woman keeps checking her watch. Nobody talks at first. Then the ice melts, the story comes out, and Ryuu starts measuring. A recipe slides in between the scenes, and by morning someone walks back into the city a little steadier than they arrived. What exactly does he see in a person before he even reaches for a bottle?
