Baki-dou: The Invincible Samurai
Baki Hanma has nothing left to punch. Ever since he settled things with his father, the kid who used to fight for his life now yawns his way through challengers in the Underground Arena, and his friends are just as restless: Doppo, Retsu, Katsumi, Jack, all grinding through impossible training with zero fire in their eyes. Then Tokyo gets a very strange phone call. A team of scientists bankrolled by Mitsunari Tokugawa has done the unthinkable and dragged Musashi Miyamoto back from the dead. The legendary swordsman walks into the modern world expecting duels to the death, and the modern world has no idea what to do with him. Musashi starts cutting his way toward the top, and Baki's friends are standing in the line of fire. For the first time in ages, Baki feels something other than boredom. So when an ancient killer with a sword and a teenager with bare fists finally square off, who is really the one out of place in this era?
