Assault Lily: Bouquet

ActionFantasy2020ShaftRating 6,513+HD

Fifty years ago, monsters called the Huge dropped out of nowhere and started wiping out cities. Tanks and bombs did nothing. So humanity built its own answer: teenage girls called Lilies, who charge their weapons with Magie, the power inside their bodies. Riri Hitotsuyanagi was just a kid running from an attack when a Lily pulled her out of the fire. That rescue stuck with her. Two years later she enrolls at Yurigaoka, a military academy training the next generation of Lilies. And on her very first day she runs into the girl who saved her: Yuyu Shirai, a classmate. Riri remembers someone warm and fearless. What she gets is a girl who barely talks to anyone and fights every battle alone. Riri keeps pushing anyway, sitting next to her, following her around, refusing to take the hint. Some of the other Lilies think she is wasting her time. The Huge are not going to wait for the two of them to sort out their feelings. Riri wants to stand beside Yuyu on the battlefield. But what happened to Yuyu in the years between that rescue and now, and can someone who shut everyone out ever let a partner back in?
