Angel Heart
A teenage girl jumps from a rooftop in Taipei. She is an assassin, and everyone calls her Glass Heart. She does not hit the ground. A metal fence catches her, punches straight through her chest, and somehow she wakes up in a hospital with a stranger's heart beating inside her. That should be the end of the story. It is not. While she is still in a coma, the dreams start. She sees streets she has never walked, a face she does not know, a woman named Kaori Makimura. So the girl who was supposed to be dead packs up what is left of her old life and goes to Japan to find the person whose heart she is carrying around. Trouble is, Kaori is gone, and the man closest to her is Ryo Saeba, a sweeper with a serious problem: a professional killer just walked into his city wearing the heart of the woman he lost. Ryo wants answers. The girl wants to understand the dreams. The people who used to give her orders want their weapon back, and they are not the type to ask nicely. What happens when a hired gun starts feeling things she was never supposed to feel?
