Akebi's Sailor Uniform
Komichi Akebi spent years dreaming about one thing: the sailor uniform her mother wore at Roubai Academy. She even made a deal with her mom. Get in, and the uniform gets sewn. Then the acceptance letter arrives, and Komichi is over the moon. First day. Ceremony. Every other girl is wearing a blazer and skirt. Komichi stands there in her sailor top, the only one in the whole room, and the school quietly tells her the old uniform was retired years ago. Most kids would want to crawl under a desk. Not her. The principal lets her keep wearing it, and she walks the halls like she owns the place. Now every day is a small adventure. She meets classmates who are nothing like her and somehow fits right in with all of them. But when you show up dressed like a ghost from the school's past, can you really stay just one of the girls?
