AKB0048: Next Stage
The understudies of the 77th generation have barely settled in when the rules change again. Concerts get raided, stages turn into battlefields, and the Deep Galactic Trade Organization keeps tightening its grip on anything that looks like fun. So AKB0048 does the one thing nobody expected: it brings back the general elections, and with them the center nova spot. Now the rookies are not just chasing the successors. They are competing against them, head to head, for a title that has been empty since Acchan vanished. Nobody talks about why she disappeared. Nobody explains what really happened back then. And while everyone is busy counting votes, something bigger is moving in the dark, patient and quiet, waiting for the right moment to strike. Nagisa and the others will have to dig into the secrets buried inside Team 00, figure out what the kirara really are, and face a past the group has kept hidden for years. The lights are still on. The music is still playing. But for how much longer, and who is actually pulling the strings?
