Aikatsu!
Ichigo has zero interest in idols. Her little brother is the obsessed one, and he practically drags her to a Mizuki Kanzaki concert, with Aoi tagging along. Then the lights hit the stage, Mizuki starts to sing, and something clicks in Ichigo: she wants this too. On the spot she decides they should both apply to Starlight Academy, the school that turns ordinary girls into stars. Getting in is another matter. The entrance exams throw obstacle courses and climbing walls at them, which is not exactly what you picture when you think of pop music. And classes at Starlight are just as strange: one day it is Christmas trees, the next it is some physical challenge nobody warned them about. Aoi has dreamed of this school for years, so she knows exactly how much is riding on every audition. Ichigo is the one who jumped in yesterday, chasing a feeling she cannot even explain. They lean on each other through the laughs, the rivalries, and the moments that sting. Can two girls with completely different reasons for being there really light up a stage the way Mizuki does?
