Makoto has soaked in ninety nine hot springs. Not a hobby exactly, more like a quiet mission, and number one hundred lands him at Miyama-kan, a wooden inn tucked between the mountains where four girls run the place: Tokura, Akino, Tsutsuji and Mitomo. He barely sets his bag down before he wanders somewhere he shouldn't and finds Yuri, the goddess of the springs herself, right there in the water. That's when everything flips. In one clumsy moment he takes her power. Just like that, the boy who came to relax is the one holding the reins of a hot spring, and the inn suddenly has a new pair of hands on staff. So now Makoto scrubs floors and hauls towels for the same four girls, keeps quiet about what happened up in the steam, and tries to figure out what a goddess's power is even supposed to do. Yuri is still around, watching him fumble with something he never asked for. Can a high schooler with a soaking habit really run a divine hot spring, or is he about to boil the whole place over?
