Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!

Kazuhiro has been slipping into another world through his dreams since he was a kid. Die there, wake up here. Fall asleep again, pick up right where he left off. For years he has fought and wandered beside Mariabelle, an elf from the Sorcery Guild, and he figured he had the rules all worked out. Then they stumble into a dragon's nest. The eggs are right there, the mother is not supposed to be home, and one wrong step changes everything. The beast wakes up and turns them both to ash. No big deal. He has burned to death before. He wakes in his own bed like always. Except Mariabelle is lying next to him, very much alive, fast asleep in a Tokyo apartment. So the dream was never a dream. It was a real place, and he has been dragging a real person into it all this time. Now he is showing her vending machines, train stations, convenience store snacks, the whole ordinary mess of Japan, while somewhere on the other side a dragon is still guarding those eggs. Two worlds, one shared clock, and no instruction manual for either. What happens when she has to go back?
