Kazuki waited ten years for the neighbors to come back. Ten years of replaying the same memory: a boy running across the yard to play with her, her sister Hatsune, and his little sister Marie. She never told Yuuji how she felt before his family moved away. So she kept the feeling alive, polished it, made it perfect. Then the moving truck pulls up, and out steps Yuuji. He is not the boy from her memory. Not even close. He is loud, shameless, and apparently incapable of keeping his hands or his eyes to himself for five minutes. Everything she built up in her head collapses on day one. And here is the kicker: both sets of parents are gone, off to South America, leaving the two families to share one roof. Then school starts, and of course he is in her class. So now Kazuki has to sit next to the walking disaster who ruined her decade long fantasy, eat dinner with him, and pretend none of it bothers her. Can she get over the boy she invented and see the one who actually came back?
