Two brothers are just trying to survive when something inside their blood wakes up. It changes them. Fangs, monsters, and a power that was never supposed to surface. Then the rules of their world break wide open. A celestial messenger named Xiao Ba A Sha and a demon thief called Zi Zhu fall into their lives, and just like that the four of them are stuck together, hunting creatures that should not exist. A new team has formed, and it is not the one anyone expected. They are heading west now, into lands full of demons and things worse than demons. Faith gets tested out here. So does courage. The real question is whether that awakened blood is a gift, or something the brothers were never meant to touch. And when it finally burns out of control, who will be left standing?
