The Fable
He kills people in six seconds flat, and he has done it so many times that the boss finally gets nervous. Too much noise, too many eyes. So the deadliest hitman in the business gets a year off in Osaka, where nobody knows his face. There is a catch, and it is a big one: no killing. Not once. His driver comes along, pretending to be his sister, and if he slips up even one time, both of them are dead. Sounds like a vacation. It is not. The local yakuza boss, Takeshi, takes one look at the quiet new guy in town and starts planning how to bury him. Fable has to shop for groceries, blend in, act normal, and dodge every trap coming his way, all while his hands are tied behind his back by the one rule he cannot break. A man trained to end lives in seconds now has to survive a whole year without ending a single one. Can a killer really learn to live like everyone else before someone puts him in the ground?
