The Demon Girl Next Door 2

Shamiko has one goal: break the curse the Clan of Light dumped on her family, and she is not exactly built for the job. She is a demon girl who faints from hunger, who naps hard enough to miss her own big moments, and who still insists everyone call her Shadow Mistress Yuuko. Then comes the twist. Her best ally in this whole mess turns out to be Momo, a magical girl from the very clan that cursed her bloodline in the first place. A magical girl has vanished, and nobody can explain how. Somewhere in town something dangerous is sitting still and waiting, and the two of them have to go looking together, which is awkward for a demon and a light clan soldier who keep ending up at each other's houses anyway. Meanwhile Shamiko keeps sensing her father nearby, a man she has never actually met, and that might be the strangest part of all. Can a girl who can barely afford dinner really break a family curse, and what exactly is her dad doing this close to home?
