The Aquatope on White Sand

Fuuka's dream of becoming a top idol fell apart, and no amount of pretty faces could fix it. So she walks away from Tokyo and the stage. Instead of running home to Morioka where her family is waiting to comfort her, she gets on a plane to Okinawa on a whim. Sun, sea, maybe a little healing. Why not. Then she stumbles on Gama Gama, a shabby aquarium with almost no visitors and repair bills piling up. The director has already picked a closing date at the end of summer. His granddaughter Kukuru refuses to let it happen and is scraping together every yen to keep the doors open. Fuuka, still raw and aimless, begs for a job there. Problem is, she knows nothing about fish. She drops things, gets in the way, and Kukuru starts to wonder if her big plan was too big for one person. Two girls, one dying aquarium, and a whole season to pull off a miracle. Can they really save the only place that feels like home?
