Tears to Tiara
The Holy Empire is swallowing up every land around it, and sooner or later its soldiers were going to reach the little island of Erin. They do. Men snatch a young priestess named Riannon to hand her over as a sacrifice to the demon king Arawn, a monster everyone swears once burned the world to ash. Then the monster shows up. Grey haired, good looking, and not in the mood to eat anybody. He turns on the men who dragged him back, frees the girl, and before her brother Arthur can swing a sword, the demon is standing on their side. He keeps the truth about himself to himself. A swordsman, a hunter, a swarm of shrieking pixies: the tribe's tiny army grows, and the Empire's grip starts to slip. Except the priest who summoned Arawn had plans of his own, and a demon carrying guilt is a demon with something to prove. What happens when the power you unleashed decides it would rather fight beside the girl than for you?
