Somewhere in Turkey, high on Mount Ararat, a secret group called ARCAM digs up something impossible: a structure that looks a lot like Noah's Ark. The find is huge. The problem is that a rogue Pentagon outfit, the U.S. Machine Corps, wants the thing for itself, and they are not planning to ask nicely. So ARCAM sends in its Spriggans, operatives trained for exactly this kind of mess. Yu Ominae, a Japanese agent, gets paired with Jean-Jacques Mondo, a French one, and together they go up against a squad led by Colonel MacDougall. MacDougall is a boy, and thanks to a genetic experiment he can crush minds with a thought. He has his own plans for the Ark, and they have nothing to do with saving anyone. Yu and Jean-Jacques have to move before MacDougall does. But how do you stop someone who can kill you without ever lifting a finger?
