Episode 4 · Sky Girls

Sky Girls

The Worms came first, and when the fighting stopped, a generation of young men had been buried. Earth survived, but barely. Everyone told themselves the worst was over. Then the sky tore open again. With so few pilots left to call on, the military handed three teenage girls a machine called the Sonic Diver and told them to fly straight at the thing that had already killed millions. They are not soldiers. They are the last option anyone wanted to use. The war did not end when the shooting stopped. It just picked new people to send. So what happens when the only defense left is a trio of girls who never asked for any of this?
