Nobunaga is dead. That should have been the end of it. Instead the lords of Japan keep tearing at each other, and at Kawanakajima the Takeda and Uesugi armies smash into one another again and again like they have nothing better to do. Off to the east, two men who were always going to meet, one in azure and one in crimson, finally square up for the duel everyone has been waiting for. Then a messenger rides in with news that kills the mood. A massive army has sealed off Takeda, Uesugi and Date all at once. The man behind it is Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the one who picked up everything Nobunaga left behind, and he has decided Japan belongs to him now. Some lords kneel and tell themselves he will bring peace after all this blood. Keiji Maeda has his reasons to think otherwise. Masamune Date, who holds the middle of the country and does not compromise on anything, is not bowing to anybody. So the era of chaos rolls on, only now the collar around everyone's neck is a different color. Can anyone actually stop a man who wants to unify the land with fire and steel?
