The Western Restaurant Nekoya does good business. Regulars in Japan keep coming back for the food and for Master Tenshu, the cheerful guy running the kitchen. Simple enough. Except on Saturdays the place looks closed, and that is when it really opens: the whole restaurant slips into another world, where dragons and elves push through the door for a plate they cannot get anywhere else. Two waitresses work the floor. Aletta, a demon, greets everyone politely. Kuro, an elf, keeps her past to herself. Old customers come back with stories about their homelands, newcomers stumble in not knowing what to expect, and Master just cooks. But it is not all cozy dinners and small talk. Every guest arrives carrying something from the world outside, and not all of it is harmless. What happens when a customer brings trouble through that door instead of an appetite?
