A boy drops out of the sky onto the fields of Astraea with nothing in his head but his own name. Yuuki. An elf called Kokkoro finds him lying there and offers to be his guide, which turns out to mean teaching him everything: how to swing a sword at monsters, how coins work, how to survive a world he clearly does not belong to. To scrape together some money they hit up a local guild for a simple job. That is where Pecorine walks in, a wandering swordswoman who fights like a dream and eats like she has not seen food in a week. Then comes Karyl, a cat-eared mage with a sharp tongue and zero patience for any of them. Somehow these four end up founding a guild of their own, and the days start filling up with strange towns, weird food, and people who seem to know more about Yuuki than he does. Because here is the thing: why does a prophecy name him specifically? Why does Kokkoro's guide role feel less like coincidence and more like a job assignment? And who was Yuuki before he fell?
