Haru's office job has chewed her up and spit her out. So she walks away from it and takes a position as a concierge at the Pokémon Resort, a sunny getaway where both people and Pokémon come to slow down. Her new boss Watanabe grins like nothing has ever gone wrong in his life. That should be the end of the bad days. It is not. The habits from her old life follow her through the door. Haru still treats every request like a deadline, still braces for disaster over a spilled drink, and the resort does not work that way. The job is not about checking boxes. It is about sitting with a Pokémon that will not come out of its shell, or keeping a guest company when the afternoon stretches long and quiet. Easy to say. Much harder to actually do. So what happens when a woman who forgot how to rest is put in charge of everyone else's rest?
